Between Spaces and Memories

Architecture, Design & Hospitality

On April 29, BLTA opened the doors of Casa Joaquim Barretto in São Paulo for Between Spaces and Memories: Architecture, Design and Hospitality. Hosted by Maria Luisa Barretto, the gathering featured a conversation led by Camilla Barretto, BLTA’s CEO, with architects Ana Almeida Prado Sawaia, Janice Miguel and Mariana Simas. The discussion explored how architecture and design can go beyond aesthetics and functionality to create identity, belonging and connection. In a space shaped by history and memory, BLTA highlighted the importance of authentic Brazilian hospitality and its ability to transform spaces into meaningful experiences that remain with us and a lasting sense of place and memory.
